Project objectives

The project addressed the urgent need for innovative educational tools to support the transition towards a circular economy. It emerged from the partners’ collective experience and passion for environmental sustainability, responding to the negative impacts of consumerism.

Project objectives

Promote social inclusion and innovation to facilitate the transition to a circular economy.

Develop an innovative online course for young adults to build circular skills, raise awareness of circular economy principles, and promote local environmental initiatives.

Create a non-formal learning methodology to support adult educators and ecological activists with tools for teaching circular skills.

Empower vulnerable groups by involving them as non-formal educators in the online course.

Project results

The active involvement of vulnerable groups, like senior citizens and migrants, as non-formal educators helped increase social recognition and participation

The online course Green Skills for Circular Economy. The course received the 2023 Grundtvig Award for green transition best practices.

A non-formal learning methodology for adult educators, available in three languages.

Extensive dissemination efforts reached over 52,000 people, and fostered collaboration with 22 associated partners.

Green Skills for Circular Economy is a transformative project aimed at enlightening and engaging young adults in the principles of a circular lifestyle
