Project objectives
Our project responds to the increasing risks young people face online, aiming to raise awareness about the impact of antisocial behaviors — such as cyberbullying — on mental health. We support youth leaders, educators, and social workers to build a safer digital space for teenagers across Europe.
Project objectives
Empowering teenagers: Equip them with knowledge and skills to navigate social media safely, enhancing their digital literacy, emotional regulation, and empathy.
Addressing risks: Focus on tackling the dangers of antisocial behavior online and building resilience among teenagers, especially vulnerable groups.
Supporting professionals: Develop an educational program tailored for youth leaders, educators, and social workers working with teenagers.
Building connections: Establish a professional network to ensure ongoing collaboration and the promotion of online safety.
Expected Project Results
Increased Awareness: Teenagers and professionals will gain a better understanding of the risks and psychological consequences of antisocial behavior on social media.
Safe Behavior Skills: Teenagers will learn emotional regulation, empathy, and how to use social media responsibly and safely.
Tools for Professionals: Youth leaders, educators, and social workers will acquire practical methods and resources to support teenagers effectively.
Professional Network: Establishing a sustainable community for knowledge exchange and continued efforts to promote online safety..

Training Course for Teenagers

We design interactive workshops focused on safe behaviour on social media and pilot the course with teenagers

Project Events:

Kick-off project meeting
On November 7, 2024, the project partners from MySociety (Netherlands) FENAN Consulting (Netherlands) and More Mosaic (Sweden) met for the online kick-off project meeting to discuss the general project timeline, make detailed plans for the first activity and dissemination strategy.
The partners agreed on the next steps needed to ensure smooth project management and successful development of the Training Course for Teenagers “Safe Behavior on Social Media”.
Our main steps include:
- Needs analysis with interviews and surveys to understand teenagers’ social media behaviour and potential dangers.
- Developing the content of the interactive workshops and scenario-based learning excersises
- Pilot training sessions targeting teenagers, including refugees and other vulnerable groups
- Evaluation of results and collecting participants’ feedback to refine the training program.
The partners agreed to meet again in December to discuss the results of the interviews and survey.
