On September 26 FENAN Consulting participated in the European Researchers’ Night. The Webinar was organised by our partners: S.A.F.E. Projects and ViOne Consultancy (Netherlands). Participants discussed the role of science and research in life-long learning and continuous education and presented their ongoing projects.
FENAN Consulting has presented an ongoing work on the course “Psychology of Misinformation”. The rise in political polarization, extremism, conspiracy theories, hate speech, and related violence, driven by disinformation, poses significant threats to democratic values, mutual respect, and tolerance. In recent years, political extremists, multinational corporations, and authoritarian regimes have increasingly exploited online platforms, social media, and advanced digital tools like AI-powered data analysis, personalisation algorithms, and microtargeting techniques. These innovations allow disinformation to spread more effectively across digital spaces. It is important to create non-formal educational programs and digital tools for educators and learners to enhance our ability to recognise and resist disinformation.
The European Researchers’ Night:

- brings research and researchers closer to the public, attracting over 1.5 million visitors across Europe and beyond each year
- promotes excellent research projects across Europe and beyond
- increases the interest of young people in science and research careers
- shows how researchers’ work affects our daily lives
